What time does the service begin? 10:05 a.m. every Sunday morning What should I wear? Affinity is a casual worship experience; we have people who dress in jeans and sweatshirts, some who wear suits and ties. We DON”T care what you wear, we just want you to feel comfortable. Most people dress casual (jeans, shorts, sweaters, t-shirts, etc). Where do I go when I get there? Just come in the door and you will be met by an Affinity greeter who can help you find where you need to be. We gather in the gym, but have programs for kids from birth through grade 6. Our greeters can help you find those areas as well. What about my kids? They can stay in the service with you, if you want them to. We do offer a great program called ABC Kids, which is for our children from birth through grade 6. In each classroom there are screened workers who have completed a thorough application process. And ABC Kids is a peanut-free environment. If you have any questions about ABC Kids please contact Jennifer Hamilton. Do I have to be a part of a specific denomination to attend? No you do not! Affinity is a group that comes from many different denominations and church backgrounds. We aren’t concerned about where you have been; we are just glad you are here now. What happens during a service? We usually start with a time of worship through singing and occasionally some multimedia (all the words to the songs are projected onto a screen). After the singing Pastor Jarret will come and give a talk about a passage of the Bible (all the Bible verses that are read are also projected onto a screen). We typically conclude by worshipping through song. |
